Hey Magical Peeps!
I'm PinkaT
Hi, I’m Pinkat, a tattoo artist creating cute tattoos for your inner child. 💖
My work is inspired by nostalgia, pop culture, and all the little things that make life feel a bit more magical. Think beloved childhood characters, treasured collectibles, cosy memories, sparkles, bright colours, and the stories that have stayed with us long after growing up. Through tattooing, I love transforming those feelings into colourful pieces that bring joy every time you look at them.
I was born in 1990, so I grew up surrounded by cartoons, Pokémon, Disney movies, video games, toys, sticker collections, and the wonderfully chaotic early internet. Those influences never really left me. Today they continue to shape my artistic world alongside Japanese kawaii culture, Harajuku fashion, animation, and the comforting sense of wonder that comes from embracing the things we love.

Creativity has always been at the centre of my life. Before tattooing, I explored drawing, comics, photography, animation, and eventually completed a Master’s degree in Design and Visual Culture. In 2017, I discovered tattooing and immediately fell in love with its unique ability to combine art, storytelling, and human connection. After many months of obsessive research I finally started my tattoo journey in my hometown of Lisbon, Portugal.

After six wonderful years building my career there, I moved across the world to Perth, Western Australia, in 2024 to begin a new chapter. It has been a journey of growth, adaptation, and rediscovering myself as both an artist and a person.
Today, my focus is creating colourful, nostalgic tattoos that celebrate the things that make people smile. From cute characters and glitter effects to patch, sticker, gemstone, and embroidered-inspired designs, I love creating tattoos that feel playful, meaningful, and uniquely personal. Long story short: I hate boring!

For me, tattooing has always been about more than artwork. Every piece represents a shared moment, a story, a memory, or a feeling worth carrying forever. It is a privilege to create something that becomes part of someone’s life, and I am endlessly grateful to everyone who trusts me with their skin and their stories.
