Tattoo Terms and Conditions
Business Details
Pinkat Tattoo is the business and public brand name used by Ines Filipa de Barros Oliveira, ABN 53 301 958 035, in connection with her tattooing services. All bookings, payments and services provided through Pinkat Tattoo are provided by Ines Filipa de Barros Oliveira, trading under her own name.
By booking an appointment with Pinkat Tattoo, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
Quotes and Pricing
Each quote is valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
Quotes are provided as an estimate based on the information, design, size, placement and requirements discussed at the time the quote is prepared. A quote is not necessarily the final price of the tattoo.
The final price may vary depending on the actual time required to complete the tattoo. Tattooing time can vary between clients and designs, and the final amount will be determined based on the actual number of hours required to complete the agreed work.
Where applicable, the estimated price is provided as a guide to help clients understand the expected cost of the tattoo. It should not be considered a fixed or guaranteed final amount unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
If the agreed design, size, placement, level of detail or scope of the tattoo changes substantially, the estimated price may also need to be revised.
Any significant changes to the agreed tattoo will be discussed with the client before the tattooing process begins.
Age, Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
Tattooing services are provided only to clients aged 18 years and over.
Tattooing services are not provided to clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
These are business policies established to prioritise client safety and the quality of the tattooing procedure.
Quotes and Pricing
Each quote is valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
Quotes are based on the information, design, size, placement and requirements provided at the time the quote is prepared.
If the agreed design, size, placement, level of detail or scope of the tattoo changes substantially, the original quote may no longer apply and a revised quote may be provided.
Any significant changes to the agreed tattoo should be discussed and approved before the tattooing process begins.
Deposits and Bookings
A deposit is required to secure an appointment.
Deposits may be paid in cash at the shop counter or by bank transfer. For bank transfers, the appointment is considered secured only once the payment has been received and proof of payment has been provided.
The deposit will be deducted from the final price of the tattoo.
Deposits are generally non refundable and may be forfeited where an appointment is cancelled or rescheduled outside the conditions specified below, subject to any rights the client may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
At least 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling of an appointment.
Where less than 48 hours’ notice is provided, the deposit may be forfeited.
Where a client fails to attend an appointment without providing notice, the deposit may also be forfeited.
A deposit may be transferred to a future appointment at the discretion of Pinkat Tattoo and subject to availability.
If an appointment must be cancelled or rescheduled by Pinkat Tattoo, reasonable notice will be provided where possible and an alternative appointment or refund of the deposit will be offered, as appropriate.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available to a client under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
Late Arrivals
Clients are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled appointment.
Late arrival may reduce the time available for the tattooing session. Where significant lateness means that the appointment can no longer reasonably be completed, the appointment may need to be rescheduled and the deposit may be forfeited.
Clients should contact Pinkat Tattoo as soon as possible if they anticipate being late.
Design Changes
Reasonable minor adjustments to a design may be discussed prior to the appointment.
Significant changes to the concept, composition, size, placement or level of detail may require additional design time and may result in a revised quote.
Once tattooing has commenced, significant changes to the agreed design may not be possible.
Tattoo Suitability and Artistic Recommendations
Not all designs, sizes, placements or levels of detail are suitable for tattooing.
Factors including fine detail, line weight, colour, placement and tattoo size can affect the appearance, healing and longevity of a tattoo.
Pinkat Tattoo may recommend modifications to a proposed design, including increasing the size, simplifying details, adjusting colours or changing the placement, where these changes are considered necessary to achieve an appropriate result.
Pinkat Tattoo reserves the right to decline or modify a tattoo where proceeding as requested may reasonably compromise the safety, quality or longevity of the finished tattoo.
Client Information and Suitability
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information that may be relevant to the tattooing procedure or healing process.
This includes disclosing relevant allergies, medical conditions, medications, skin conditions, sensitivities or other circumstances that may affect the tattooing procedure or healing.
Clients must notify Pinkat Tattoo of any relevant change in circumstances before the appointment.
Where there is a reasonable concern that proceeding with the tattoo may be unsafe or inappropriate, the appointment may be postponed or declined.
Payment
The remaining balance is payable on the day of the appointment following completion of the tattoo.
Accepted payment methods may vary depending on the location of the appointment.
Any applicable payment fees or surcharges will be communicated to the client before payment is made.
Aftercare and Healing
Clients will be provided with aftercare instructions following the tattooing procedure.
Healing results vary between individuals and may be affected by factors including skin characteristics, tattoo placement, lifestyle, environmental exposure and adherence to aftercare instructions.
Clients are responsible for following the provided aftercare instructions and taking reasonable care of the tattoo throughout the healing process.
Pinkat Tattoo cannot guarantee an identical healing result for every client or tattoo.
Touch Ups
If a tattoo requires a touch up following the healing process, the client should contact Pinkat Tattoo so that the tattoo can be assessed.
Touch ups are assessed on a case by case basis.
The need for a touch up does not necessarily indicate an issue with the original tattooing, as healing results vary between individuals and may be affected by factors outside the artist’s control.
Touch ups required as a result of inadequate aftercare, picking or scratching, excessive sun exposure, accidental damage or other factors outside the artist’s control may incur an additional charge.
Where a complimentary touch up is offered, the applicable conditions will be communicated at the time of the appointment.
Photography and Portfolio Use
Photographs of completed tattoos may be taken for professional portfolio, website, social media, advertising and promotional purposes.
Where reasonably practicable, photographs intended for publication will focus on the tattoo rather than identifying information about the client.
Clients who do not wish their tattoo to be photographed for promotional purposes should advise Pinkat Tattoo before the photograph is taken.
Any collection, use or disclosure of personal information will be handled in accordance with the Pinkat Tattoo Privacy Policy.
Intellectual Property
Original artwork and designs created by Pinkat Tattoo remain the intellectual property of Ines Filipa de Barros Oliveira unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The purchase of a tattoo does not transfer copyright or ownership of the underlying artwork to the client.
Clients may not reproduce, sell, distribute, license or commercially use original artwork or tattoo designs created by Pinkat Tattoo without prior written permission.
Pinkat Tattoo retains the right to use original artwork and tattoo designs for professional portfolio, social media, website, promotional and other legitimate business purposes, subject to the Privacy Policy and any specific agreement made with the client.
Right to Refuse or Stop a Tattoo
Pinkat Tattoo reserves the right to refuse or discontinue a tattoo where there is a reasonable basis to consider that proceeding would be unsafe, inappropriate or inconsistent with these Terms and Conditions.
This may include circumstances involving intoxication, threatening or abusive behaviour, harassment, unsafe conduct, failure to provide relevant information, or other circumstances that may compromise the safety or wellbeing of the client, artist or other persons present.
External Events and Conventions
Appointments conducted at tattoo conventions, festivals or other external locations may be subject to additional requirements, policies or restrictions imposed by the event organiser or venue.
Any relevant requirements will be communicated to clients where applicable.

These Terms and Conditions are intended to operate alongside the Australian Consumer Law and other applicable Australian legislation.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded, restricted or modified.

If you believe a product has a fault or does not comply with the Australian Consumer Law, please contact Pinkat Tattoo as soon as reasonably possible with details of the issue.
Any return, replacement or refund will be assessed in accordance with the circumstances of the issue and applicable consumer law.
Order Cancellation
Orders are processed as soon as reasonably practicable after payment is received.
If you wish to cancel an order, please contact Pinkat Tattoo as soon as possible. Cancellation may not be possible once an order has been processed or dispatched.
Nothing in this section limits any rights a consumer may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Lost or Missing Orders
If an order appears to be delayed or has not arrived within the expected delivery period, please contact Pinkat Tattoo so that the delivery status can be checked.
Where tracking is available, the tracking information provided by the postal or delivery service may be used to investigate the delivery.
Pinkat Tattoo will take reasonable steps to assist with enquiries relating to missing or delayed orders.
